Testimonials

Melio recently hosted a technical workshop with dataSemblr and helped us unpack how we can design and build a Generative AI solution we had in mind. Their depth in engineering skills (platform), AI skills (model choice, training and tuning) and customer experience (knowing what will fly) accelerated our design and scoping process. The workshop was an invaluable injection into the product scoping and roadmap. Working with a team of customer-centric full stack engineers from Melio resulted in one of the most productive workshops we have experienced.

If you're unsure whether your use case fits, the Basic tier is a great starting point.

For anything involving technical decision-making, cloud architecture, or scaling, we recommend Standard or Advanced.

You don’t need to be highly technical — but some context helps.

We’ve designed the workshop to work for a range of participants, from non-technical founders to seasoned engineers. Our team adjusts the level of depth and jargon based on who’s in the room.

Here’s how it typically works:

  • Non-technical founders or product leads: We’ll focus on high-level architecture, feasibility, trade-offs, and business value — no code required.
  • Technical teams: We’ll go deeper into solution design, tooling, scaling, and integration — including architecture diagrams and platform discussions.

If you're not sure where you fall, don’t worry — just bring your goals and questions, and we’ll guide the conversation to match your comfort level and decision-making needs.

Yes — and we encourage it.

The workshop works best when key decision-makers and collaborators are in the room. You’re welcome to invite team members from product, engineering, leadership, or even external advisors.

To keep the session focused and interactive, we recommend a maximum of 6–8 participants. This ensures everyone gets value and there’s enough space for discussion, Q&A, and strategic guidance.

  • Standard & Advanced Tiers: Team participation is fully supported. We’ll tailor the session to your group’s needs and ensure clear outcomes for everyone.
  • Basic Tier: This is a self-paced experience and intended for individual use. For collaborative workshops, we suggest upgrading to Standard.

Let us know who’s joining in advance — we’ll adjust the flow accordingly.

The FLUID Assessment is our GenAI readiness self-assessment tool — designed to help you quickly identify where your team stands on AI adoption.

It takes just a few minutes and covers key dimensions like:

  • Use case clarity
  • Data availability
  • Technical architecture
  • Team capability
  • Business impact and risks

Once completed, it automatically generates a tailored AI Readiness Report that highlights strengths, gaps, and action areas.

Do you need to complete it?

  • Basic Tier: Yes — it’s the core of what you get, along with FLUID Bot access (coming soon) and your readiness report.
  • Standard & Advanced Tiers: It’s optional but highly recommended. We use it to kickstart the conversation, save time during the live session, and ensure your roadmap is grounded in your current context.

Even if you're not technical, FLUID makes it easy to reflect on where you are and what’s needed to move forward — think of it as your AI baseline.

The Basic and Standard tiers are fully cloud-agnostic — they focus on validating your AI use case, giving you a personalised readiness report, and helping you make informed build vs. buy decisions, regardless of your tech stack.

The Advanced tier includes an AWS-specific architecture review and AWS POC credits. If you're not on AWS, we’ll still conduct a deep-dive architecture session tailored to your current environment (e.g. Azure, GCP, on-prem), and adjust the roadmap and recommendations accordingly. You just won’t be eligible for the AWS credits.

Most workshops are delivered virtually by default to support teams across locations and time zones.

However, we do offer in-person options in select cities:

  • 🟣 Johannesburg & Pretoria: Join us at our office, or we can host the session at your office in Rosebank
  • 🟣 Cape Town & Surrounding: We offer in-person sessions once every two months — let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly
  • 🌍 All other locations: Sessions are virtual, but if you’re interested in a custom in-person workshop (e.g. team offsite, enterprise strategy session), we’re happy to discuss travel and scheduling

To request an in-person workshop, contact us at info@melio.ai.

Not much — but a little prep goes a long way.

Here’s what we recommend:

  • Complete the FLUID Assessment (if you haven’t already): This gives us a structured view of your AI readiness and helps focus the session.
  • Bring your key questions: Whether it’s architecture, use case design, integration options, or budget, we’ll work through them live.
  • Share any relevant context upfront: If you have existing documentation, diagrams, product goals, or timelines — feel free to send them ahead of time.
  • Get the right people in the room: Product, engineering, and strategic decision-makers (ideally 6–8 max) so we can move quickly and align effectively.

Don’t stress if you don’t have everything in place — that’s what the workshop is for. We’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity.

🟣 Basic Tier

You’ll complete a self-paced FLUID Lite assessment, which gives you:

  • A personalised AI Readiness Report

Yes — absolutely.

If you start with the Basic or Standard tier and later decide you need deeper support, you can upgrade to a higher tier at any time. We’ll credit your initial purchase toward the upgrade, so you only pay the difference.

For example:

  • If you complete the Standard workshop and want to do an Advanced AWS architecture review, we’ll schedule your follow-up session and unlock the extra credits included in that tier.
  • If you started with Basic and want a live session, you can seamlessly move to Standard.

Just let us know, and we’ll adjust the plan based on where you are in your journey.

Your Highwind AI credit gives you access to our growing marketplace of ready-to-use AI solutions — no custom dev required.
